It had just rained here for a few days ,so when it quit we needed to get some work done on the farm before it comes back in this week, got done early and decided to grab the video camara and head to the blind and see what I could see,of course the .270 needed to come to ,after all its still deer season. About 4:00 I had a little six point come in (3x3) I've watched him 3 times before and filmed him for a bit,and saw him take a spin and saw what he was looking at. A good size doe came into the Imperial Whitetial clover patch where my son Trav shot his big one this year,so I zoomed in on her for awhile, then she ran out of site while being chased by an 8 point that ran out of the woods. Soon the 6 point joined in the fun,and next thing I know I had deer everywhere just kicking up their heels like they do after a good rain .5 different bucks and does everywhere, Then this guy came out and I watched for some time before I decided to take him, seasons about to end and I needed one more for the freezer. I saw his eye guards and how high up his horns went before they started. I want him I thought. So the camara went off and the .270 came out,and a 140 gr Sierra was unleased. Went about 20 yards and dropped.
