Can anyone interpet the Marketing gleam of the Night Force scopes?

Just candid conversation, old Dakota-assin has me wanting to review these scopes to see if they've got the bang for the buck for what I do.  (not that I could afford one but hay).

Spot I find the greatest feature of a nightforce scope is the clarity at magnification above 24.Not many scopes are crystal clear at 32 and 42 but nightforce are. They are robust(NF models,I am not sold on the NX's)they offer a glass not far behind swarvoski and the repeatability of the movements is magnificant.I have used them on comp rifles I have been loaned and now I want one for my own.

I think they are worth the money for the shooting that I do with them.

I have the NXS 5.5-22x56 model.  Had in on a Remington 308 for about 2 years now.  My wallet still hurts every time I look through it, but it's been so much fun to use that I'm not about to part with it.

As said above, the glass is great.  And when I adjust the elevation or windage it goes right where it should, every time.  I think another good feature of these is the recticle is etched into the glass, so no breakage.

It has an illuminated recticle but I never use it.  On the NXS models you have to remove the parallax knob cover, remove the lithium battery, and then you can adjust a tiny little screw for the amount of brightness you want.   I think the benchrest models have an external adjustment for the brightness.

Would I buy another.  If I ever win the lotto you bet I will.

ut would imagine they are superb.

Somebody better call the Secret Service. Let 'em know there's an illegal alien in the White House...and it ain't the cook!!
