i wasnt able to post a reply to the big game pic thread so here goes...

i shot this deer Oct 15, 2004. for starters i had seen this deer over the summer with a bachelor group and he was one of the 2 biggest. by the second week of season i hadnt seen him again so i decided to stalk through the area i thought he was bedding and bumped him out the first time in. 2 days later i went back in hoping to be able to spot & stalk him with my bow but ofcourse i bumped him out once again. that following weekend i called up a buddy and i sent him in to the bedding area while i set up in his escape route. long story short, i was able to take this deer w/ a 10yd shot off the ground as he was sneaking away. he's my biggest deer to date and grossed 134 7/8, his net green score was 128.

Way to go 3ptbuck.   Good job of keeping after him, and smart tactical move to finally get him.

Very nice buck 3pt.  Congratulations.

Proves that not all the big bucks are shot from tree stands.
