OK I'm out of baggage hunting and fishing.
Got 14 pheasants. how to cook. Just finished an great dinner. little spices of marinades; so I used what I had: lemon juice, lime juice, salt/pepper, some Olde Bay (don't leave without it). But i also had lots of cinnamon, and I use d lot in a madiade. Delicious, got to remember cinnamon when back home. The apple cider vinegar is a secret also, I use it often gives a nice apple flavor. But the cinnamon--wow great stuff. Followed a double vodka martini made with polish potato vodka, with 3 garlic stuffed Queen olives. Great dinner. |

One of my favorite Pheasant recipes is to put Italian
dressing in a skillet on the stove and put in a few boneless breasts and cook them in the dressing. Wing master |

both sound good. Never 'sauted' in salad dressing sounds
interesting. Honey mustard is good on most anything. I almost used a horseradish mustard glaze, but wife hates horseradish. |

I haven't hunted pheasants in years, but smoked was my preferred method, rest just don't compare. Kind of like Salmon, smoked and any other way, that should've been smoked instead.

No smoker in the condo. Baking works OK.
will be hunting boar this week, if successful, I'll borrow a smoker to do 4 hams. I need to find some curing powder' but will wait time the bacon is on the ground (should have brought some from the homestead! Notice i said IF successful...not when successful. |
