well,  warm enough I pulled the boat out of the limestone mine 9about 1 mile inside).  Never freezes there.

Got her cleaned, batteries in new canvas top on.

The took her to the "boat doctor".  Needs some new bellows for drive shaft and shift cables.  I'm to old to lift the 80-100# parts; did it last time 20 years ago.....I must have been young back then.

Got it in  line early; hope to get it back in 2 weeks then launch and fish non-stop.

Boat is 38 years old, but I like it.  Wife and kids want me to get a new one (pontoon, aka 55 gallon drums welded together).

Fishing non stop sounds like a great plan.

My wife thinks I need to upgrade my main vehicle. But I like Ol' Rusty. I haven't seen your boat, but I'm not too sure a pontoon boat would be an upgrade from what you've told us.

Good point. Rusty is 38 years old too.

It sounds to me like you have the perfect boat.
