Yes, there is an oil Creek.  and one time 100 years ago it actually flowed oil.  It runs between cities like Titusville, Pithole and ends up in Oil City.

Nice freestone stream, about 60 foot wide where I fished yesterday in a Delayed Harvest area.

The water was very low, 14 inches to 20".  But so clear there was no need for polaroids.  Vodka clear.  Lots of fish with many rising.  seems they were hitting  size 28 white emergers about 2 inches under the surface.  Very difficult to catch.  Had a very good time, temp started at 39 oF but was sunny.

Browns and rainbow.

Clearest water I've ever seen.

New waist high waders were perfect.
