Nice bird there Gunrunner!

I'm looking to be going after them soon myself.  Probably start in Kentucky and work my way back to West Virginia.

Those are some real nice looking birds D.  Nice looking country too.   Congrats to you and your son...

How many birds can you get during Spring?  We're able to harvest 3 bearded birds in Calif during Spring season.

Mountaineer, good luck on your hunts for the elusive tom.   Are the Kentucky birds any different than the W Virginia variety?

We can only take one tom in the spring And a hen or a tom in the fall if you didn't get one in the spring.

D, When you get that new Gun I wouldn't want the old gun gettin' jealous and all, so you might have to send it over to me so it doesn't have to see the new one. RD

Gunrunner,

Same species, different turf Kentucky turkeys vs. WV turkeys.  It will be the first time I've been down there for turkeys so I guess we'll see.
