Does any one use a Magneto speed chrony? I found a used one and bought it. It will be much easier at the range then my tripod chrony in front of the bench. My biggest concern is will it have any affect on accuracy with it strapped to the barrel? Thought?

We do Hill. We have a sporter and a gen 3.
They work great, beware of used ones. The reader you plug the bayonet can get loose and not read.
Plug it in and see if it throws a code.
We use it on lead core and copper bullets. We use the gen 3 for steel/ lead/ tungsten shot shells.
The strap that holds the bayonet to the barrel sucks. We use black electrical tape Lizard uses wire ties, to attach it.

It showed up today, looks good, everything in the case. I plugged it in and readout seems OK. Not sure when I'll get a chance to try it out, but should be much easier than the tripod setup in front of the bench.

YUP!
I'm working a few "Shifts" this month to order one.
It's the easiest unit to work, basically turn it on and shoot. I think you can link it to your phone too.Clap
