Bear what are you putting it on?
I'm a Cooper tire guy.
width=325&height=60&rim=18&order_by=best_match&display=full&location_id=22798&season_id=all&search_by=size&page=1

Set of 2: $562.06

I was running Discoverer A3s and did for 30 years.
The last set I got where a bit more aggressive.
Discoverer® Rugged Trek
There $$$ but so far they seam like a very good tire for getting around out here.
I CAN get them from Walmart or Sam's club, but I get then from a dealer, road hazard, and all inclusive maintenance and such. they were $ 1400 for all 4.
I never get 60,000 out of any tire I run.

I run 15-18K miles per year, mostly city (pot-holes) and highway with maybe 1500 off-road (dirty gravel).  I do generally get 50k+ miles on a set.  Present suv has 150k and I'm now shopping for 3 set (original + 2 sets).

i don't rotate, just drive.

I use to like coopers, and other USA brands.  But today top brands and unknows are all made in other countries, brazil, chile, china, etc.  I also figure they are much the same, except for adding the tradenames in the side wall.

On the low end, I can get a set (4) at wallyworld for $360 plus mounting fee.

Thinking to go with best price.

Cooper tires were a usa brand.  today the tires you buy may be made in the USA or foreeign.

Cooper has factories in the USA and some countries, such as China, Mexico, Serbia, BAZIL, and the United Kingdom. All those facilities manufacture the tires. MOST YOU BUY WILL BE CHINA OR bRAZIL.

i CAN GET CHEAP TIRE FOR $115 MOUNTED AND OUT THE DOOR (MAIL ORDER).  cOOPERS WOULD BE ABOUT $200 (MAIL ORDER.

i'D LIKE TO BUY AND INSTALL BY LOCAL.

kELLY'S ARE SIMILIAR, USUALLY MADE IN cHINA OR bRAZIL...GOT TO CHECK ACTUAL SIDEWALL.
