I found a very good load for the Rock Island 1911 10mm, but it's not quit what I want.
The load is with blue dot and Hornady 155 gr HP
There shooting about 2.5" at 30 yards. I have not checked the speed but the book is like 1400.
What I would like is a cast bullet load.
The cast powder coated I have tried have not shown a good group. 175 hard cast, powder coat and a gas check. We have tried several powders, and speeds. We have yet to check them with out the check.

I have  a bunch of test load to try powder coated with out a check and some just lubed with a check.
My colt shoots just lubed and checked better the the PC ones.

More testing to come.Ouch

Lyman recommends  6.5  of Bullseye, as the most accurate.  I load pistols for max accuracy, velocity is secondary for me.  placing good hits is more important to me in hunting critters.

Taking my 375 SS out for a walk in the deer woods today.

Blue dot makes for a very magnum load for sure.
When I was testing the 155 the lowest/ slowest load was the most accurate that's the one I'm using, the recoil on the next 3 loads up we tried was WAY to much to have fun with, and not good groups.
I do know all the blue dot loads throw the brass in to the next county and have great fire blast.

I've never loaded for or had a 10mm. I have used Blue Dot for heavy shotgun loads and have a couple pounds of it. I tried it in .357 Magnum and I don't remember why but I didn't keep using it.

My favorite pistol powders have always been Unique and Bullseye.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.
