Well, nephew got a bug...as youngin are apt to do.  He ordered a custom rifle in 6.5 PRC.

Anyone have opinions on this round?

I agree.


It's factory 140 gr beats my 260 Rem handload by 90 fps!!!!!   like a deer knows 90 fps???

My son has one and loves it. 

He has proven that it will kill an elk if that means anything. 

I prefer the Sweed as far as 6.5's go but the .260 is just as good if not better because of it being in a short action. 

I honestly think the PRC is a good cartridge and young guys like new stuff. I guess I fall more under the category of an old guy and I like old stuff.
