I AM going to brake my long term bear curse this year.
Don't laugh, I am.
AND I'm going to use my new/old 8mm RM.
DANG IT I will.
And I'm going to do it this spring...
I'm all licenced up and you know loaded for bear.
This weekend I'll zero the 8 at 240 and proof it out to 500 yards.
I'm hoping we can use the 4wheelers and not the snowmobiles.
I'd rather do the 4wheelers and my Kenetreks rather then the snowmobiles and snowshoes.
BUT I WILL to smash this damn bear curse.
April 15th to may 31 I think
I took 04/29 off for the postponed this year's MYGAWDS
That would give my 5 days to hunt them, the end of the season tends to be the best harvest ratio. I'll keep the last week open for bear if I don't already have the tag punched.
I may not find a monster or my Yellow bear but I WILL HAVE a bear.
I'm going to shoot the first boar that happens to fall in to my scope View.  Regardless the size or color.

    Sounds good D.
I just heard that we in Missoula, and probably the county too will be home bound starting tomorrow. We now have 6 virus cases in Missoula.   I also heard that Malstrom has basically closed up shop.  I hope you get to hunt for that bear.
So, I will be forced to be home, just like Bear.  It's a good thing that I was at the range yesterday.  I have lots of yard work left and several hundred rounds of varmint rounds to load.
As the young kids would say "this sucks".
