Not a huge turkey but should be a good eater.  Juvenile Hen. First one I was not going to be picky I told my friend first turkey we see tonite I get a shot at I am taking. About 30 yards. My friend shot a juvenile hen this size last night so we are two for two. Still got a tag for farther south of me in the next zone. Did not even bother for deer it was 80 damn degrees today. WTF kinda weather is that for northern WI in Oct.  Used my own reloads with 5 shot.

congratulations JH.  Any bird is a good bird, especially fall birds as they are a lot tougher to get than spring birds.

Should be good eating.  I usually only eat the breast, everything else is little meat.

JH;

Congratulations!  I've never hunted them, but I've heard more than once that it's sure as hell not a "gimmie".
