Well, I've got 2 of these new puppies, and my brothers have3 more (one is on the way from Cabela's now). we have our weekly meeting to BS and drink tonight. Looks like this will be the subject.
Like Mountaineer I've got a new VX III 3.5-10X - 40 just mounted and bore sighted on my Kimber.
Well, I've decided...I'm not sending it back. The problem only seems to effect weither you add or subtract when making dial changes. Actually I noticed this problem when bore sighting the Kimber at the range, I added (when I should have subtracted); I thought it was all the drugs I had taken (legal). I really didn't look at the dials then to see why it was wrong. With just a little attention I can live with this on my big game rifles, as I seldom change the crosshair in the field.
It is nice when Leupold backs up there product this well on a simple non-function thing. I remember when the Japanese Bushnells had their windage and elevation diresction wrong for about 3-4 years. Boy did that casue problems at sight in day with some guys moving them correct and other moving them wrong. I never hear of Bushnell ever recalling any of them, much less paying shipping.
