Never shot one CB. How would you compare it to Colt in 38 super??? Coonan is out of business I think and that probably pushed it out of my "shooter" price range. BEAR |

Bear; It's my understanding that the Coonan will run any .357 that it can feed. Power wise, it's probably fairer to compare it to the 10mm rather than the Super. But if you do a direct comparison, go to Speer 11. The later editions of Speer use the S&W model 19 as the test platform. Speer 11, & some few earlier editions, use the Ruger Security Six as the test gun. Coonan is indeed O.O.B. I think. The gun is stainless & worth around $700.00. I'll check into it deeper since there's interest. 900F

When I was employed as a probation officer doing intake at SB Co Juv Hall a student took 2 weapons from his fathers collection placed them in his backpack and went off to Pacific HS in San Bernardino,CA (dangerous school with too many bangers and adam henrys creating racial riots)since backpacks are searched the school police found a Coonan and a 32 cal Beretta which were seized and the kid was delivered to Juvenile Hall close to PHS. The school police officer showed me the coonan which probably was destroyed.
