there is a lot of truth in that sign. When the US invaded Mexico and concurred it they had all of Mexico, but they didn't want all of Mexico because it had half breed Spanish/Indians. US thought these were below black slaves, and American had a BIG problem with that. So they took the good parts, Texas, and California, and left the rest to 'others'. History has proved that was a good decision. |
