   Get some rolled rawhide treats; the type that are just rolled up like a newspaper, not tied in the shape of a bone. Set one in a container of water deep enough to cover it and let it soak for 2-3 days. You'll be able to unroll it. Clean it up really well under running water, then get a round bar and cover it with wax paper and smear on some kind of edible lube. I use bacon grease. Now wrap the rawhide around that and use twist ties to keep it wrapped up. Let it dry for a few days then pull it off the rod. Stuff with Fido's favorite treat. I use boiled chicken livers or Braunschweiger liver sausage. My Black Lab goes crazy for these.
