Dale is one of the best glass artists in the world. Period. He has some fine examples on display in the Washingiton State History museum in Tacoma. I think he used to have classes/seminars once a year at the Pilchuck school which is just a few miles south of us.

jeff -

the more i see, the more i find myself impressed. we are doing an exhibition on his pendleton blankets and the glass cylinders inspired by the blankets, and i am looking forward to it. i just hope that i don't stumble and knock one over! i imagine that it would be quite expensive to replace!

I imagine it would be good investment glass to have to hand down to kids and grandkids.

Keep in mind, Dale makes VERY little of this stuff himself. He has a bunch of elves and minions in his workshops that do the actual grunt work of taking a project from concept to finish. But then again, so did Tiffany, and look at what that sells for now!
