Hey All,

Heading to Montana this fall. Can anyone help me with the laws on, carring a handgun in the vehicle and on my person in the states of Nevada,Idaho, and Montana.

I know what they are here in Ca , thanks in advance

Mickey, I am told that if you get a Utah conceal carry permit, it is honored in most gun friendly states. Here in Va Beach, these classes are offered at gunshows and the permit is issued. I haven't tried it, but I plan to..................Kingpin

Utah permit is good for 31 or 32 states.....but not in Florida or Mich for example which only honor a permit if from your home state.  The ccw map is pretty good.

I'd go to Montana.gov & ask the attorney  general's office about their view of the law and your right to carry.  Whatever they reply, print it off & keep at least two copies with you.
