   Got a look at one of the New Burris scpes today,
   The one I saw was a 3-12X50. with a mill dot reticle. Positives were the Opticle clarity, 30mm scope tube, good solid construction, a very classy look,,made in the USA and in my opinion the price is quuite good, A VX3 3.5-10X50 with a mill dot type reticle would be aproaching 600.00. and the Burris was around 490.00.
    Negatives, I don't like the little protrusion by the adjustment turrets, that I think is where they inject the nitrogen., I am not to high on the power ring being intigell with te Eypiece could be I would get used to it but it is a clumsy set up to me. This Version of the model is awfully big and massive for my needs but i would like to see the 3-10X40, it sells for under 450.00 with a milldot. And would probably be real nice on my 270.  I still have not seen a signiture select model, but a 3X10 by 40 milldot there is well under 400.00, (1inch tube)Don't know If I will buy one over a Leupold but they sure are a worthy competitor.
