Where I live there is little possible hunting, 150 yard safety zone rules out about 400 sq miles of metro area.
But we seem to be getting more bears every year, even got a metro season. So yesterday, someone posted on the neighbor site, a videa of a roaming bear at about 8am. While the lady that took the video said it was a 'really huge' bear, "the biggest I've ever seen". It looks like a 1.8 year old skinny male. Guess we need local traffic and the interstate to 'thin' the pack.

It sounds like a good time to join an archery club.

I wonder if FedEx or UPS will ship a culvert trap with a live bear in it over night express? Our bear season starts 9/15...

Archery isn't a very effective way to hunt bears in urban areas. They kill by bleed-out and that can mean a bear could run thru dozens of yards and even end up in a swimming pool. Or pass thru a group of playing tots!!!
leg hold traps are best way...but liberal urbanites are too stupid to understand trapping with leg holds. Culvert traps good but expensive, need to bait for weeks.
