Rem 700BDL 8mm Rem Magnum.
I just ordered some Nosler 8mm 200 Grain Partition SP (BLEM) bullets, fair price and in stock.
I have been using Barnes TSX with great luck, no complaints what so ever, but... Hard to get and well over $1 a bullet. We are using Reloader 26 also very hard to come buy before the pandemic hit.
I get one inch group at 238 yards and a titch over 3200 fps.
There is virtually NO load info for anything Reloader 26, I had a guy work up a load on his computer program.

Do you think if we started 10% less and work up we would be in the ball park and safe?
With the Barnes we are not at the top, two grains less in fact, and they show NO typical signs of over presser.
The Blems are about half the price. From 100 yards to 300 yards, I'm in the kill zone 6" with out doing any guessing.

I have been shooting 500 yards but using Serra 220, Reloader 26 and get right at 3100 fps, 500 yards laying down off my pack I can hit about a grapefruit sized group if I do my part.
The 220 are incredibly cheep compared to the rest of the bullets and I can find them off and on, so I at this point don't plan to try anything else.

in 8mm, For soft skin game I like PPVi partizn bullets, in stock at grafs   about 30 a piece.

For bigger game I have Norma Vulcan.

Re your new load,  I'd not compar the pressure of the Barnes copper bullets to the Noslers.  The copper bullets are very soft and therefor less barel friction.  The stronger cupro gilding metal of a jacketed bullet get more pressure and more velocity...but HIGHER pressure with the same load.  I'd work up slow.  I try to not use loads that are not  published.

Reloader 26 is newer powder and not yet in print much. It is a SLOW powder they say.

I use Reloader 26 in my Swede. It's the same for it No published data for it.

I had my gunsmith plug it into Quick load. The data it produced made loads that did show pressure signs. I started at the lowest that it recommended and quickly saw pressure signs so I went back down and found a super accurate load that had reasonable velocities.

I think it's definatly good information but Start at the low end.
