That's what I'm talking about Peter. At the SHOT Show one year, I bought, what I thought, were ivory grips. They were actually ivorine. What a drag!!! I took them off and put them someplace I'm sure I don't care where. Anyway, do you also have any that will fit a P-14 Para?...................................Kingpin

If I remember right, the p-14 does not have a flat background. I think it is stepped which will be hard to copy. I'll try to find one and check it out.

The shorter gripped 1911's are no problem. They are about 3 2/3" vs the regular approx 4 3/8" in the regular 1911.

The length is not affected by the "bob." Just the corner near the mainspring housing.

"The shorter gripped 1911's are no problem. They are about 3 2/3" vs the regular approx 4 3/8" in the regular 1911." It sounds like you're two are talking apples & oranges here, full sized "bobbed" vs "compact carry" shortened grip, which is just shortened to bobbed length and you lose a round or two in shortened mag. |

I have seen the rounded rear on Kimbers. That is no problem, but I don't have any to copy so I'd nedd to borrow the grips for a day. I do about 6 a day in my spare time.
