   I decided that the dogs looked like they needed some exercise on Saturday afternoon so I got my gear together and went across the road after some pheasants.  About 200 yds into the field I had to turn around because I had my limit already - You just can't beat livin' in Montana.  I'm gearing up now for a horseback elk hunt in the buffer zone by West Yellowstone on the 22nd - any word on whether or not there is any snow up there yet??
