Good stuff the longer they simmer the better they are.
Saute' onion,garlic and pepper in olive oil till onions glaze over,break up burger and brown. Now dump in your two cans of beans in(with juice ) with all your other fixn's I add a dash of Alpine spice sesoning and let them simmer for a bit. you can eat them as soon as they get hot if your in a hurry,but the longer they simmer the better they are. I'm not at all sure why but I like to make this in a cast iron pot,might just be me but I think it tastes better. |
