One problem with slings is ' they slide off your shoulder'.

Hunted with D and he had a non-slip model.   Got me one of them, Claw.  but is seems to have lost its 'stickness'over the past 10 years.

Thinking (dangerous) and seems the 'tackness' sprays for golf clubs might help.

thoughts????

If it's not working for what you need it for I think you have nothing to loose.

I have one and I took it off the rifle and cleaned it with hot water and Dawn dish washing soap and a scrub brush. It helped a little but it hasn't been as good as it was when it was new.

I have one also...the CLAW....haven't used it 'nuff I guess to notice if it has lost any "stickiness". I do know the leather ones for sure want to slide off the shoulder.

I use a little alcohol or an alcohol wipe, to get the sticky back.

I also have a pack clip on the shoulder strap on my hunting pack.

With thick winter clothing on even the claw will slip off.
