Short answer, no. Longer answer, besides the action length and barrel profile, they're similar. They also have the differing bottom metal treatments. I only have couple 700 left, but I believe they had three action lengths and at least that many barrel profiles. The magnum profile, will allow standard profile to float, you'd have to fit the other way around, same with heavy barrel profile.

Long action, standard action, 270/280/06 should have standard profile barrel, stock from magnum profile, will have extra clearance, first few inches. 264wm, 7mag, 300wm and 338wm have magnum profile barrels and stock, from standard profile, will fit tight, first few inches. The ADL stocks from same era, will also fit, just lower grade wood and less checkering. CDL from era, had extra grade wood and higher "monte claro" check rest, but fit is the same.
