being down with two eye surgeries, I'm not supposed to do anything BIG.

So I'm looking at trees that need to be pruned, topsoil, etc

Used the time yesterday to to make two brass garboard plugs for my boat.  One has a check valve, so water will run out but not in.  the other will let me change my crankcase oil thru a tube.

So it looks funny, but it makes life easier.  So then My wife and I are trailering it, folks will pass my boat and say "look that one has two a$$holes".

Like working with brass on my lath.

If it's functional I don't care what it looks like.
