45 years ago, next monday,  my wife asked what I wanted as a wedding present.  I picked this knife.  It has dressed about 40+ dee, still solid and sharp.  Only the rose wood handle shows wear, dull.  I liked it because it fit in my pocket, and had 2 blades.  It sharpens quisk, and holds an edge; always felt that two sharp blade would get me thru 3 deer, and it has without sharpening.  In 1876, monster bladed knifes started to be a fad; as usual I go opposite to fads.  I routinely see guys carrying Arkansa Tooth picks and Bowie knive on their belts deer hunting.
