Storm moved about 500 gull over to my side of the lake.  

And  75 settled on my blue boat top. over night.   spent 2 hours cleaning most of the poo of.  Any suggestions (no pellet guns) on how to keep them moving off my boat?

YEARS ago I was an exterminator.
Back then about the only restrictions we had was DDT and 1080.
Everything else was ago, no protected anything but eagles.
For perching birds we used "Tanglefoot" which was clothianidin and grease. For birds that eat grain we usd "Avitrol"( I think that was what it was called). It was a poison that sent then in to violent convulsions before the died , that would scare the other birds to stay away. Either now would send you to federal prison for ever...
