I use the small bottle propane tanks for my ground blind, when temp drops below 25 oF.
This is my concession to being an old Fart. But being old and german, I tend to be 'cheap'. So I refill my empty cylinders from my gas grill tank. Simple. Anyone doing this????????????????????

YUP us too. We find you can actually "FILL" the canister if you push the safety valve and let some presser off as you do.

I have found that the small cylinders don't last long enough in my Big Buddy heater that I use to heat my tent. I run a hose outside the tent to a 20lb propane tank.
It might be sorta hard to tote a 20lb tank through the woods to your blind though. Wing master
