Local smith died.
How difficult would it be to BEND a bolt handle on a 22 Marlin. It has a big curve and doesn't clear the scope. I don't have bending blocks nor a acy torch. Anyone do this?

I've never done it, but I don't think it would be all that bad to do it yourself.
I'm thinking if you make a fixture and are in the area I have an accetalene torch. Wing master

might take you up on that. need to shield from heat the square section where it attaches to the bolt body. that is the locking lug.

bear, check with Gun Parts Corp to see if they have a used bolt in stock....buy it and use it for a test run B4 trying on your guns bolt. In case it don't go well.
