MT has similar one, for $5. You pick species, you buy ticket for. I believe it's same cost for non-residents.

long odds but cheap investment.   Auctions are good odds, but a heck of an investment!

Good point Bear, 

They auction off "Commissioner" tags at local fundraisers for The Rocky Mountain Elk foundation etc. 

That problem is they usually go for $10,000 and up.

Think some of these lotteries maybe a good idea, especially when you can pick the area you want to hunt (best WMU).
