Still hand fabbing parts.
I made some seat mounts , Bracing up the hulls.
I may have located a used prop.
Two blade wood. 64" x 36 pitch.
May be a little "Big" for a 1600cc motor at 4000 feet
But if I can get it for a good price...
I'm hoping my Johnson torque converter drive will let me get it up to speed.
I have not herd back from him, freight may be the killer it's in Florida of course.

If it isn't proper size to your horsepower and
torque...it ain't no bargain.

if pitch isn't right, it will just turn at low rpm! or
turn but get no thrust.

Remember your 'older' motor doesn't give same torque as
a new/spec engine.

Hey Dale, either heed the caution from bear or have him pick it up when he is in florida and bring to MT next spring.

This is the reason I went to all the extra expence and truble of doing it with a Snowmoble drive.
To stretch the limits of the little bug motor.
Same person has a 3 Blade "powerfin" composite 54" adjustable prop and hub for $300 , same thing just at the top for a 50 hp motor, but it has slight , miner damage to the leading edge of all three blades. Must have ran a tree branch through the prop.
Being adjustable pitch It is a lot more flexible as to power needed to turn it.
New the wood one is $600 and 3 months out.
The other is a $1200 prop witch leads me to believe Miner damage is a BIG deal...
If the wood one just cant spin up to speed I CAN change the ratio of the chain portion of the drive.
$100 bucks to find out compared to $600 to find out.
I'm leaning toward the wood prop to try.
