Just came across some pics of my legs after my last big hoorah of a small game season. I gotta find something better. The green and red briar shred everything I've thrown at them and the thornapples will pierce armor plate.

Any suggestions shy of a juggernaut suit?

For years I hunted with hounds, and trained and competeted
with them. Only brush busters any one wore were "MULE". I
have a 20 year old pair that have been thru 'crucifixion
thorns" many times. Never a puncture.

There was a guy in Ohio that advertised in Hound and Hunter
mag. He customized them to your specs for $25 extra. He
passed I believe, don't know if anyone picked up his
business. The are bright green!

I have used a pair of Filson brand "chaps" (they call it "tin Cloth") for many years.....only real wear shows at the hem where it gets the most abuse. Had them recovered at the hem area once in nearly 30yrs of use. Now this is only a fall used item for a few weeks per year and not everyday.

Thanks guys, I'll check them out.

Thought maybe you would have all his foil for your B-more trip. Double duty. Protection from any of the chemicals leaking and as body armor for while you are there.

I can vouch for the Filson chaps. They kinda pricey though. The Mule
brand that bear mentioned look promissing as well.
