We usually don't get the large dumps of twelve inches plus and what we do get is usually pretty dry. I have pushed 12 inches plus with no problem but it was very fluffy snow. I opted for the five foot blade, if I were pushing wet heavy snow I'd have gotten the four footer. I have found the large bore machines really do push snow better, speed and being able to maintain it helps a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody came out with a pto but it'd probably be a rear pto for mowers and such.

Jeff, I looked at Polaris as well as the rest. What sold me was the light weight and solid rear axle of the Kawasaki. I do really wish efi had been out when I bought mine. Hopefully Kawasaki will keep the Prairie platform when they do go to efi. The Brute Force will probably get it first and while it has lots of shear horse power it handles terribly. The price on the new Bomb is close to 10k It's the only big bore I've yet to ride but sounds great, it too weighs in at around 600lb dry and it's rear suspension doesn't give the tire scrub like the other IRS machines. I really wish Honda would get a front differential lock and a tranny with a true low gear in their Rincon and I'd be all over one. Hondas are just quality, even their lawn mowers. I like them all though, just real handy and lots of fun.

I've seen pull behind mowers for ATVs that had their own motors. In fact I saw one that was about 5' wide that had two blades and motors. I'm surprized that someone doesn't make a front mounted blower about 36" wide with a 10 HP motor for ATV use. Another business opportunity for somebody. Wink RD
