There was a gunshow here on Saturday and I went. There was the usual price gouging on AR's and ammo. One vendor though, had on his rack, a pair of Ithaca model 37 12 gauges. One was priced $300, and the other was $350. They were in great shape, and my wallet was trying to wiggle out of my pocket. Anyway, I passed on them and now, sitting here rambling, my foot is trying to kick me in the ass. Dammit!! I don't have a 37 and there was my chance.............................Kingpin

Kingpin;

We saw at least one nice Ithaca 37 at our show this past weekend.  I don't remember the number on it, BEAR might & he pointed it out to me.  But it was also a nice gun.  It didn't speak to me mostly because of the Browning BPS.

The Ithaca 37 is a fine shotgun.

I would think a lefty would be spoken to by a bottom ejector.

$300 or $350 in this part of the country is a great price for a 37 in good condition.

A new Ithica company has opened a few years back.  Still making the multi screw #37.

I looked very serious at a 28 ga....perfectly scaled down; it handled like a dream.

Just a pair of old 870's, an Ithica single, and a revolver.......no fancy shotguns here. I had a really awesome side by side Stevens that was probably 95% or better condition that I sold for 350 last fall. It was just collecting dust and to be honest, there wasn't alot of room for my big stubs on a twin trigger.
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!
