Got this guy a few days ago,but thought he was a goner,I felt like I hit him good, but he didn't act hit,and we searched for blood nothing, sometimes I hate muzzle loaders. After no sign of him after looking for 2 days off and on,we thought he had won that round. But sad to say, while hunting another stand,I kept watching for vultures, sure enough I started to notices a few, quite aways from where I had shot him,but no stone left unturned right ? I went looking for him, nothing,we have alot of hills around here and I'm getting to old for this . LOL I had all but gave up,and started bck up the hill, looked over and there he lay. Yotes got one eye and the hams but the cape is still good. Can you say SMELLY, dang. He went about 600 yards from where I shot him, though 2 thickets, and a few hollers. No freezer meat from this guy. I had to resize the picture so we look short and fat. Or is that really the way I look ? LOL Edited by Tikkabuck |
