Well, I am coming to the point where it is hard for me to have a burning desire to burn up centerfire ammunition with the way prices are. I have a 10/22 all decked out (Hogue stock, 20" heavy barrel), but would love a quality bolt action .22. Have the Savage, and to say the least I think it is a worthless POS. It doesn't even get to be in the gun cabinet next to my Ruger and Tikka. I am looking at ditching one of my AR's anyways (yes I bought a 2nd one...dumb to say the least), but I really don't know what my options are for nice .22 LHers. Anschutz from the pictures at least seem like glorified Savages. I remember that CB bought a CZ 452 American in LH, but I don't think I have read much about it. How do ya like it?

NH;

Go to www.rimfirecentral.com, hit the CZ forum.  The 452 LHB is a keeper.  This gun is made like a pre-64 model 70 Winchester, in other words quality construction with one exception.  The trigger guard is stamped steel.  They are, fed the ammo they like, very accurate.

Foobulous!

I don't own one, but I have a friend that has a couple that I've shot. The CZ's are wonderfully accurate rifles. And very stoutly built, too.
