I think we all had fun with the Fall 2017, and we helped raise some $$$ for BSB.
Thinking we need a Spring 2018 postal shoot. We need to change or that same Dude will win again with his 10-22. Any thoughts on rifles/range/ etc??????????????????????????? Never to early to plan.

I don't have anything over .338, except in pistol and my eyes aren't good enough for pistols @200yds.

Do you guys like group size...OR scored rings????
group size lets everyone use the same target and even verious size bulls. No all on-line down loads are the same identical size. that is why I went to group size. thoughts welcome.

The biggest caliber I have is .30. I vote for Ray's idea of any rifle.
I can shoot at any distance. If we decided to do scored rings, the judge could provide targets to the entrants so we all have the same target. Maybe if this idea catches on and we do this every year, I could use my 6.5x55 project gun sometime around the year 2024. If I have it back by then. Wing master

I didn't have the heart to go out there last friday. I waited until today.
He has the barrel. I saw the barrel, Even held it in my hand and looked down the bore. He said he has one ahead of mine and then he will get started on it. He really did seem like he felt bad about it. I'm really hoping he get's on it soon. Wing master

Good grief!
Lots and lots of matches both rifle and pistol use scored targets! And they use the SAME downloaded target. Bear, Your imagining problems. Show me a downloadable target of your choice. I'll download and print it - You do the same and We'll send'em to W_m for measurements. |

What if.......next rifle match for this board we do use one of those targets with individual bullseyes on them with ONE shot per bullseye (a sample with 10 bulls for score and one for sighter was posted someplace earlier) and SCORE the target via impact on target IE: each individual bull. Easier for the "judge" whomever it may be to score too I'd think. All the other "rules" of this years match could stay the same if we all wanted that.
