Hey guys and gals,
Need some guidance before I blow something up. I inherited 1500 new 158 gr. SWC heads. Not being a regular 38/357 shooter, it'll take me several lifetimes to use up that many in my little J36. Without reszing them to .356, can I safely load them (modestly) for use in my Smith 986 wheelgun? I wouldn't have to worry about feeding, so it's more running a slightly oversized head down the barrel. Thanks in advance. 788

They will have no issues, .358"158gr lswc bullets, not heads, work very well in 9mm. The problem could be, if loaded round chambers in cylinder or is too tight. I use .358" cast in Beretta 92, all the time. I use 3gr Bullseye, but 4gr Unique would also work. Just put good bell on case and crimp just enough, to straighten back out flare.
