Fella's; With the re-introduction of the Browning T-bolt, my interest has been piqued. As you may or may not know, the original T-bolt was available in a left handed version. I haven't heard anything from Browning about doing the current product in left, but wouldn't expect to for awhile anyway. After all, look how long it took Tikka to release the T-3 in a left bolt, something around 4 or 5 years. Has anyone here ever owned, shot, or handled a lefty T-bolt? If so, I'm sure we'd like to hear about it. For most of us, that's as close as we're gonna get, the price of original lefty T-bolt being rather closer to God than I am. 900F |

I own a LH T-Bolt II. It has a 24" bbl and high grade wood. I bought it in 1985 and it came in the factory box and the shipping carton from Browning. I really love it but don't shoot it too much as I don't want to take a chance of scratching it up. The clips are very expensive, when you can find them ($60-$100).

OK Hunter; Replacement new manufacture magazines can be found at: www.e-gunparts.com, aka Numrich. The 5 round mag is part #857050 & costs $24.95. The 10 round magazine is part # 955060 & costs $32.00. These have the integral ejector hook. That shouldn't be a problem for you as your gun is a later production unit. Pictures? 900F |

I'm familiar with the clips from Numrich but they don't say Browning on the bottom. I'll get some photos as soon as my daughter brings my digital camera back and upload them. I have bought a half dozen clips over the past 5 years so I am in good shape on clips. |

OK Hunter; Yeah, I know the Numrich items aren't factory original. I've purchased magazines for my Rem 788 in 6mm Remington from them. I paid something like $30.00 each for magazines from Numrich instead of $100.00 or more for used originals by Remington. Hard to pass up that kind of savings IMHO. I've got the one factory mag that came with the gun & that's good enough. The rest are Numrich aftermarket. 900F |

Here is one of those "rare","hard to find", etc, LH Belgian T-bolts. I don't have a dog in this race, just passing along something I stumbled across. http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=242254 SWMBO already told me to forget I ever saw the ad! bob

CB900, I'm with you on the savings per clip idea. I attempted to buy a 6MM clip on Ebay but some other guy wanted it much more than I did. I bought my T-Bolt clips before they became so expensive to be prohibitive. Bob, that photo of the TBolt made me want to cry. Someone put what appears to be a shotgun recoil pad on it. Why, I have no idea. It's also a T-II which has a 24" BBL and nice checkered wood. Are there instructions on uploading photos? When my daughter returns my digital camera, I'll upload some shots of my T-Bolt. |
