DD, "Hi everyone my name is Deaddog"

Group,  "Hi Deaddog"

DD, "It's been three days since I last casted"

Group, Some stifled applause and head nodding.

It's an evil insidious disease. You start out as a casual user of lead, things quickly get out of hand. You start buying molds, bullet lubes, tin,top punches, sizer dies, a lube sizer, a bottom pour melting pot, mold handles, ingot molds, a turkey fryer burner, LP gas, leather gloves, mold release, gas checks, etc. But that's just for one caliber. Soon that doesn't "do it" for you and you want, you need more. You start stopping at small town auto repair shops. You ask if they have any wheel weights they'd like to get rid of. The greasy old mechanic looks at you and can tell by the way you're shaking that you need a fix and says "sorry a guy was just here the other day and I gave him a full five gallon pail of them"...

Just say no.

deaddog, I can see right through this charade. Convince others of the addictive qualities so they'll stay away and you'll get more ww etc. for yourself. Well your little trick won't work with me. I've been casting now for about 6 months and feel no need to grovel in the dirt for wheel weights etc. I just switched mechanics because my new one gives me all his wheel weights. I've only got a half dozen friends that save peanut butter jars for bullet storage for me. My mailman's hernia wasn't my fault either. He should know that large flat rate boxes weigh up to 80 pounds. I don't even hold on to all the molds I've purchased at garage sales and on e-bay. I just trade them for tin etc. The only molds I'm holding on to that I don't have guns for have antique value. The bullets that I carry in my pocket on a daily basis are in there for polishing not for displaying to like minded friends while fishing for compliments about my handiwork. You aren't fooling anybody playing like this is addicting. Rockydog

RD exhibits classic denial. I fear he's hooked.
