I don't think so from the current prices yet and the lack of inventory plus the signs that read......limited to XX boxes per customer....although I noticed that primers at some recent gun shows was down to +/- $35/M (from $40/M) by some vendors if that is any indicator.

things are greatly improved, however today's run for supplies netted me zero 308 a-max's, zero 6mm a-max's, zero 257 game kings, and zero primers.
but, at least there were some bullets on the shelf (just none that i needed), and powders seem to be available.

In my neck of the woods, I can get everything I need. The strange thing is, they still have the 200 primer limit sign up. They have had several bricks of every kind of primer in almost every brand on the shelf for a couple of months.
Is anyone else seeing this? It doesn't make sense to me.

Gander here is still getting $5.00 a box for primers, but not from me. Screw 'em. I can get them for less elsewhere. I checked their powder prices today. $29.99 for Rifle powders, $24.99 for shotgun. RD

Wing......200 primer limit or 2000??????? 200 to me means they are still rationing them.....
RD......$5/box must mean per 100????? That's $50/M.....surely a very HIGH price.......Ya gotta buy em by the M's to get any kinda price & that ain't a good price by any means......
dak......that don't sound like to much of an improvement to me......

Last year in the heat of the insanity the local hardware store had a 200 limit listed on primers. I was loading for PD hunting and wanted a 1000. The gun dept. manger accused me of being "one of those hoarding guys". Pissed me off so I went to the store owner and pointed out that I had bought a new rifle from him and a new freezer from him last year. Also bought 1000 shotgun primers (trap shooting) 1000 pistol primers, and 1000 SR and 1000 LR primers the year before all of which I used. Store owner went to the reloading dept. reamed the dept. mgr. a new one. Told the mgr that they were in business to sell stuff and if I wanted to buy it it was for sale. Took down the sign and tore it up. Now the gun dept mgr. won't talk to me. Which is Ok as he's a dumb ass anyway. RD

ibd - well, it is an improvement because prior to that i couldn't get anything at all. now, if i didn't mind interlocks, or tsx's, or berger, etc i could get it. but, i have a very narrow window of what i need/want now, and they didn't have that. but, if i just needed something to shoot, i could get most of what i wanted in most bullet weights of most brands.
a-max's are just very scarce here in whatever configuration, and w/ the sole exception of 257 cal 100 grain sierra gamekings, sgk's are available.

Fella's;
I'm noting a substantial improvement in availability. However, prices not so much. Bullet prices seem to have come down the most. Powder costs remain right up there with what they were a year ago, I'm not buying. Haven't checked primer prices lately, can't comment on that subject.
From the shelves around here, Speer either seems to be very popular & therefore not seen so much, or unpopular & the stores aren't ordering. Methinks the latter. I wonder why? Speer certainly makes a quality product, I've had excellent results from Speer bullets for a few decades now. Of course, they don't have the videos runnin' in the emporium touting their bullet's performance like the 400% more expensive brand does. There are times when supposedly knowledgeable consumers can be such idiots.
