Fella's;

I went out yesterday, Saturday the 1st of August, with a friend and attempted to shoot gophers.  It rained, he shot one. 

Therefore, today, Sunday, I went out with two other friends to the gopher fields of MYGAWDS during sunny weather.  I shot maybe six.  It's the tail end of the season.  The three of us accounted for maybe a dozen.  They sure are fat though, and therefore easier target.  There just aren't very many of them.  And the ones you do see are thoroughly educated.

So, it's time to put the rimfires up & concentrate on getting ready for big game in Montana.

well, that said by CB...about the gopher hunting.........brings me to say thanks again CB for the 2010 MYGAWDS......me n Jay had a great time with all you fellers........ifn you should promote another such event for 2011 we'd be humbled ifn you see fit to invite us back.

Maybe we should just Plan on another "Gathering" and figure out the event later !!

Maybe this time it could involve a BOAT or a shotgun ?

No CB hates fishing that wouldn't be fair to have him plan and run some thing he hates...

If I get my elk or get a bison tag the BBQ will be at my house!!

I plan to be at the second MYGAWDS. Maybe if we start discussing it this early we might get a few more people to attend.

As much fun as I had at the first, I wouldn't miss the second.

I'm ready.  Could even be up for an earlier trip.

Anything we could do in the mid-west?  'otes?  Maybe a central location would bring more easterner?

I'd work on a New York or Pennsylvania thing...but doubt anyoone from west of the big muddy would make it?  Montana/Wyoming is probably the best location. 

Doing a fall trip (not interferring with hunitng season) would not be a substitute for the "OFFICIAL 2nd Annual MYGAWDS".

great idea brer bear........I vote for Wyoming this time for an extra fall trip......
WINGMASTER..of Wyoming.......are you listening??????????????  What can you dream up for us???????  & When????  Sept would be the best month before most regular hunting seasons in most states.
