Anybody have any experience w/the Chevrolet Colorado?

I am looking at one that has a few miles on it...211K. It has the 5 cylinder w/an AT. It is a Quad-Cab.

I am also considering a Dodge 1500 PU. SWB standard cab.

There are pretty slim pickings out there for PUs right now.

"5 cylinder"????

I never knew GM had a 5? HUMM
I know a guy that had an older one like 3 or 4 years old.
He is not a friend but a guy a talked with everyday picking up my GD from school.
He really liked it and said it was a good truck.
I also know a guy that got a new one last year.
He also loved it, I have not talked with hill in many months so I don't know how it is doing for him.
Both these people do not do much if any off roading and they rarely drive a lot of gravel.
That's all I know.
I personally don't like any ram product.
I think they have a great drivetrain but the appointments suck door handles brake noobs fall off things hang down underneath...
It's hard to go wrong with a GM, you could get a Tacoma.

Every  make and model has had problems.  Some are great and others are always having problem...for, chevy, toyota, etc.

I have never had a Colorado, just 1500 or 2500. I know new they are almost as much money as the full size trucks so I never gave them a second look, not enough room in them for me.
