Just wondering how often you clean a CCW daily carry gun. Might depend upon how much you shoot it, maybe not.

StarUnload plastic ones & toss in dishwasher couple times a year. Fine revolvers & steel autos get the grips taken off, unloaded and into dishwasher. Evil SmileWinkClown

Or the other option is to clean the lint off them regularly and keep lubed with ballistol, clean after firing for function/practice.

I shoot either 1 magazine or one cylinder through mine almost every time I go to the range. It's good practice and I always have fresh ammo. At least until lately when I cant get defense ammo.

I clean mine several times a year. Mostly when I think about it maybe every 2 or 3 months.
