I was out bear hunting driving on a "Road" that would make a ruff 4wheeler road. I hit a BIG
unexpected bump. I don't tie down my 4wheeler in the box the tail gate closes tight on to the tires making back and forth zero. BUT it can move up and down. YUP it bounced up and got above the box far enough to Hit my rear window. POP and it was finished. There is a big weather fount comings in and duck season opens Sat. My glass place is over nighting in the window and it will be weather tight for the rainy opener.

D,
  Too bad.
Maybe wheel chocks for the front wheels will help.  I use them (from Harbor Freight) on my SxS.  You might be able to attach them on 2x6's the full length of the box just to give you a couple more inches of space.  Just a thought but a completely different method of holding my SxS down.  I'll send you a text photo.

tuff luck there but hopefully your insurance will cover the window minus a $deductible$ maybe. Good that it can be replaced quickly in time for duck opener. Maybe a couple eye bolts, one in each of the box side rails up front & tie downs (left & right) to front of atv for hold-downs for the next Unexpected Big BUMP!!!!Wink

ps how is the topper thingy working out??????

Great so far I have not "Camped" in it yet. I have had it on and off multiple times as needed, wanted. To cover up stuff out hunting.Clap

It takes longer to fold it back up then to fill it and put it on.

Had a 99 F-250. Kids were probably 5 & 3 on the large size for car seats and didn’t like em. They started rocking back and forth and eventually they tagged the rear window.  Wish I had a picture of their faces when they got covered in glass. I’m sure the expression on my face was something to behold also? Makes for a cold ride. Never did get the tint replaced.

Endeavor to persevere.

Ram pickup.  I stopped for an armor car that was wrecked  in the ditch.  30 seconds later, a postal work rushing to work plowed into my rear end.  My lab was in cage in bed, but ok.

It hit me with his foot still on gas.  Rammed my head thru the rear window forcing it out.  one sore head, significant concussion.  never been right since#$%^%$#@
